3. He thinks that his money will make him eternal.
4. No, he will be thrown in a crushing place.
5. And what makes you understand what that crushing place is?
6. It is the blazing fire of Allah.
7. Which will touch (the core of) the hearts (of the criminals).
8. It will be closed upon them (like the meat being left amid a close fire to roast).
9. amid high pillars (of steel or stone).
Summary:
It is just an example of those losers who do not believe in the world hereafter nor do they do good deeds to seek the pleasure of their Provider ALLAH the Almighty. Moreover, they were not among those who advised each other to stick to the truth and be patient in that critical process. So it is our duty to take a lesson from this.
1. By the night when it covers.2. And by the day when it shines brightly.3. And by that Personality who created male and female.4. Surely your efforts and struggles are different.5. One who gives away(money, food, anything), while he is fearful (of his Sustainer), 6. And affirms the good (things)
7. Then We will make (his) way easy for him.8. And concerning one who spends miserly intending to become rich.9. And refused to believe in the good (things).10. We shall pave the way of difficulties for him.11. And then his wealth will not help him when he slides into the Hell.12. Surely, showing the Right-Way is our responsibility.13. Surely, We are the Master of the Hereafter as well as this world.14. So, I have warned you about a blazing fire.15. In which is not burnt except the most unfortunate.16. One who refuses to believe and turns away.17. The most fearful will go away from it.18. Who spends his money on purifying his soul, body and wealth.19. And no one has a blessing hand over him for what he/she is to be rewarded.20. except seeking the pleasure of his/her Highest Sustainer.21. And for sure, he will be satisfied and pleased with Him.
8. Then inspired in it, its transgressions and it's guarding (against evils)
9. He indeed succeeds who purifies it
10. And he indeed fails who buries it
11. Samood denied (the truth) due to their rebellion,
12. When the most wretched of them broke forth.
13. The messenger of Allah told them, "It is the she-camel of Allah, so let her drink."
14. But they denied him and slaughtered her so their Fosterer destroyed them due to their sin and thus balanced it (the destruction was equal to their crime).
15. And He does not fear its consequence.
Summary:After the first revelation of the Quran (96:1-5) there was a gap in further revelation which made the infidels remark that Muhammad's (PBUH) Fosterer had bidden him farewell. This Surah was sent down in reply to this remark of the infidels.
1. Abu Lahab met with utter failure and he was destroyed.
2. Neither did his wealth help him nor what he had earned.
3. He shall be roasted in the fire with flames.
4. And his wife shall carrying fire-wood.
5. In her neck will be a rope of palm fiber.
Summary:
Victory always comes only after decisive battles between Islam and UnIslam (Jaahiliyyah), and when it comes, Muslims and their armies must follow the model set by Muhammad (peace be upon him) and credit it to the help and blessings of ALLAH and not to themselves and their armies for saving the blood, dignity and honor of the defeated nations and people.
2. One who created (all things) and shaped them proportionately.
3. And who determined and guided his creatures.
4. Who grew the pastures.
5. Then He turned them in to thick greenish straws.
6. We shall make you read, so that you do not forget (what you have been taught).
7. Except what Allah wants you to forget, because He knows surely what is loud and what is concealed (silent).
8. We shall show you easy ways and means to facilitate (everything)in your life.
9. So, you continue to remind if you think that the reminding will be beneficial to the listener.
10.One who fears shall be reminded.
11. While the most unfortunate shall avoid it.
12. Who shall be burnt in the great fire.
13. Wherein he shall not die nor be alive.
14. (Remember) one who cleans himself, shall be successful.
15. And when he remembers his Sustainer's name, he bows down in prayer.
16. Nay. In fact you prefer worldly life (over life hereafter).
17. While the life hereafter is better and long lasting.
18. Surely, this is mentioned in the previous books.
19. Books of Abraham and Moses.
Summary:
The beginning and the end of this Surah is radically different from the previous Surah, where all the emphasis was on the beginning of the Day of Judgment and the Judgment pronounced on that Day. Here the style is convincing based on the facts which could be seen and touched. Then the question of accountability is raised and the outcome of the two diametrically opposite behaviors of life. In winding up it is stated that man's intention to follow his desires makes them prefer worldly life over the life hereafter. While the call of the Qur'an is not altogether new to man. It's an ancient call revealed and stated in the Books of Abraham and Moses (peace be upon them). Both trends are old and their callers and followers are also old. So choose wisely which way you take?
1. By the sky and the one who knocks in the darkness.
2. What makes you understand what the knocker in the darkness is?
3. It is a shining star.
4. There is no breathing soul that doesn't have a guard over it.
5. Man should observe from which substance is he created?
6. He is created from water which gushes.
7. Which comes out from the loins and the ribs?
8. Undoubtedly He is capable of his re-creation.
9. On the Day when (man's) hidden secrets will be put to test.
10. Then he shall not have any power or supporter.
11. By the ever returning sky.
12. And by the splitting earth.
13. Surely it is a final word.
14. And it is not a joke.
15. Certainly they are playing tricks. 16. And I am playing my trick.
17. So leave those unbelievers, as They are, for some time.
Summary:
There is some sort of similarity in the beginning of the two previous Surahs---Surah Al Inshiqaq and Surah Al Burooj and this Surah while at the end of Surah Al Burooj and this one, the seriousness of the Qur'an and its message is emphasized and the unbeliever is asked to look at the historical and natural signs to recognize his shallow logic so as come to senses. Otherwise, their fate in this world and hereafter will be very awful.
1. Neither the disbelievers from the people of the book nor the polytheists were going to be free from their misconception of the truth until a clear evidence came to them.
2. A Prophet from Allah, who reads out purified pages.
3. In which there are valuable orders.
4. And did not differ those who were given book except after clear evidence had come to them.
5. And they were not ordered except to worship Allah (alone) exclusively reserving their obedience to Him, devoting themselves entirely to Him and to establish the prayer and to pay Zakat and that is the Right Way of Life.
6. Undoubtedly, those who disbelieved from among the people of the Book and idol- worshippers shall be in a fire a Hell living eternally (in it); They are the most mischievous creatures.
7. Surely, those who
believed and did good deeds, those who are the best of the creatures.
8. The reward for their Nourisher are: eternal gardens underneath of which canals flow, in which they will live forever, Allah shall be pleased with them while they shall be pleased with Him, that is for one who fears his Provider.
Summary:
The clear proof and the evidence as exhibited in the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), the final Book, the Qur'an are now the only hope of solution and salvation for mankind until the Day of Judgment. Therefore, all people must follow it, if they wish to save themselves from endless problems in this life and from the blazing fire of the Hell in hereafter.
5. (Which were filled) with the blazing fire, whose fuel was added again and again.
6. When they (the believers) were sitting over it.
7. And they (the trench diggers) were watching what was being done to the believers.
8. They were not enraged with them, except that they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the All-Praiseworthy.
9. To whom belongs the authority over.
10. Surely, those who persecuted the believing men and women and then they didn't repent (their actions), for them, is the torment of Hell and punishment of burning (by fire).
11. Most certainly, those who believed and did good deeds, for them shall be gardens underneath, which flow canals. That is the great success.
12. The grip of your Sustain er is very hard.
13. Surely He is the one who begins (the process of creation) and repeats it.
14. Most certainly He is much forgiving and much loving.
15. To Him belongs the lofty throne.
16. He is the most capable of doing what He intends to do.
17. Has the tale of the armies reached you?
18. (Armies of) Pharaoh and Thamud?
19. But the unbelievers are continuing to refuse to believe.
20. While Allah has encircled them from behind.
21. Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an.
22. (Written on a) well protected tablet.
Summary:
This Surah---a great Surah indeed---teaches us to stand like mountains and rocks unshakably against the frightening storms of all sorts of persecution, and to believe firmly that ALLAH, the Almighty will take their revenge, on their behalf, on the Day of Judgment. Keep in mind the frightful end of the armies---the mighty armies---of Pharaoh and Thamud---who were totally destroyed by Him. It is all mentioned in the Glorious Qur'an which is well-guarded against all sorts and kinds of additions and deletions. So believe firmly what has been stated in it.
2. It will be its Sustainer to do it and is deserving for it to obey (its Sustainer's order).
3. When the earth will be spread out.
4. And will throw out what it contains and empties itself.
5. And it will let its Sustainer to do that and deserves it to do that.
6. O Man! You shall continue to strive until you return back to your Sustainer and meet Him.
7. As for the one, who has given his book (of accounts), in his right hand.
8. He shall be accounted for easily.
9. And he shall return to his family cheerfully.
10. And whoever is given the record (of his deeds) at his back.
11. He will woe (himself).
12. And shall enter a burning fire.
13. Indeed he was happy and cheerful among his family.
14. He believed that he will never be reshaped.
15. No, his Sustainer was watching him.
16. I swear by the twilight.
17. And by the night and whatever it enfolds.
18. And by the moon when it becomes full.
19. Surely, you shall pass through stage by stage.
20. Then what is wrong with them that they do not believe.
21. And when the Qur'an is read, they don't prostrate.
22. Instead of that the unbelievers refused to believe.
23. While Allah knows better what they are hoarding (in the form of their deeds).
24. Then give them the good news of a severe torment
25.Excepting those who believed and did good deeds, they shall enjoy an endless reward.
Summary:
By ending this Surah with the destinies of the obedient and the disobedient servants, the Revealer of the Qur'an, creates a similarity between the end of this Surah and the two previous Surahs---the 'Short Measurers; and 'Breaking in to pieces' ---which end with the same theme emphasizing thereby the necessity for the human being to take care the today of this world and tomorrow of the hereafter. Just like Surah Al Infitar and Surah Al Takweer, this Surah also begins with the picture of the horrible events that pave the way for the Day of Judgment. First, it mentions about the thing that is above the heads of all men, women and children and which is so bright that it contains in its folds the sun, the moon and the stars which are countless and which appears to be in the grip of an unbreakable system. Suddenly and unexpectedly it is splitting and tearing up. All of a sudden it breaks in to pieces. Upon that it's Creator, ALLAH, the Almighty comments that it happily and obediently allows Him to shatter it and that it is most fitting and deserving for it to let its Creator to turn it in to scattered pieces. So is the behavior of the earth which follows the splendid model of obedience of the sky and throws all human and other remains and it does that all happily.
1. Woe to the short measurers. 2. Who when purchase measurable, insist upon receiving full measures. 3. And if they sell measurable, they short measure them. 4. Don't they believe that they are going to be reborn? 5. For a Great Day. 6. The Day when people will be standing before the Sustainer of all the creatures. 7. No indeed the mischief of the wicked (disobedient) are recorded in the record book (safely) locked in the prison's office. 8. What makes you understand what the record book of prison's office is? 9. It is a written register. 10. Woe on that Day to those who refused. 11. Those are the people who refused to believe in the Day of Judgment. 12. And none refuses to believe (in that Day) except the one who is a transgressor, a committer of sins. 13. When Our Aayaat (from the Qur'an) are read out to him, says : “( they are) the stories of the past”.
14. No, but the reality is that the rust of their bad deeds have piled over their hearts.
15. No, indeed on that Day they will be veiled off from seeing their Sustainer. 16. Then they will be roasted in the Hell. 17. Then after it will be said to them: “that is what you used to refuse to believe in”. 18. Nay, the book of loyal and dutiful people is kept at a high place. 19. And what lets you understand what that high place is? 20. It is a written register. 21. Watchful eyes are kept over it by angels close to (Allah, Almighty). 22. Surely the righteous people will be enjoying a luxurious life. 23. Sitting on the couches they will be looking (at their Sustainer's Face). 24. You can see on their faces the reflection of the luxurious life. 25. They will be given sealed wine to drink. 26. Which will be crowned by a seal of musk; So those who wish to compete, they should compete for winning and obtaining (these prizes). 27.It will be mixed with the water of Tasnim. 28. Which is a spring from which, those close (to Allah) shall quench their thirst.
29. Criminals used to mock at the believers. 30. While passing over them, they used to wink at each other. 31.They used to get happy and pleased whenever they returned to their family. 32. Whenever they saw (the believers), they used to say that those are the people who have gone astray. 33. While they were not sent as supervisors over them. 34. Now on this Day the believers will laugh at the unbelievers. 35. While sitting on the couches. 36. Have the unbelievers been rewarded for their deeds?
Summary:
This great Surah uncovers the reason for the corrupt and fraudulent behavior and practice of individuals, groups, classes of a society and nations: not believing in the accountability on the Day of Judgment. So to reform the individuals, societies and nations, it is absolutely unavoidable, to implant the concept of accountability on the Day of Judgment firmly in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people to avert disorder, chaos and punishment from Allah, the Almighty in this world and in the hereafter as well.
1. When the sun shall be folded up. 2. When the stars become dim. 3. When the mountains will be moved. 4. When the she-camels about to give birth (after reaching their tenth month) are left unattended. 5.When the beasts will be gathered. 6. When the seas shall be heated up to the boiling point 7. When the souls are returned back to their bodies. 8. And when the girl-child who was buried alive will be asked. 9. For committing what crime was she murdered? 10. And when the scrolls (of men's deeds) shall be opened. 11. And when the sky will be erased. 12. And when Hell shall be heated up. 13. And when Paradise will be brought closer. 14. At that moment everybody will know stars. what he/she has brought with him/her. 15. No, I do swear by the disappearing 16. (Which) move 17. And the night when it darkens. 18. And the morning when it breaths. 19. Surely it is the word of a noble messenger. 20. Who has been empowered by and of a well-established position with the Owner of the Throne. 21. Obeyed (by his juniors) and trustworthy. 22. So don't regard your companion a mad-man. 23. Because he had seen him at the clear/bright horizon. 24. And he is not greedy to hide (the knowledge about) the unseen (from you). 25. Moreover, it is the (revelation) not the word of the accursed Satan. 26. Then to where are you going? 27. It is not but a reminder to all the people. 28. for anyone of you, who wants to be on the straight path, 29. And whatever you want (is not realizable) unless the Sustain er of all the creatures want it (to become a reality).
Nowadays the world's population is about 6.8 billions. In the beginning Allah created Adam and Eve on this earth.
All the men and women living on the earth are sons and daughters of Adam and Eve. In thousands of years people spread all over the earth. Before creating the man, Allah created sun and the moon, the light and the heat. Clouds pour water. It rain day and night. The rivers flew. The oceans came into existence. Mountains worked like pegs on the earth. The trees and jungles were grown. Animals and birds were created. The water animals were created in the rivers and the oceans.
We make all arrangements before guests come to our homes. Just like this Allah has made all the arrangements in hundreds and thousands of years and kept all the things on the earth. It is sufficient for billions of people for thousands of years. Then He created human beings on the earth.
